July 7, 2025 – Mouser Electronics, a global authorized distributor of new electronic components and industrial automation products, is now offering Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) ADIN3310 and ADIN6310 industrial Ethernet switches. These versatile 3-port and 6-port gigabit Ethernet Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) switches enable reliable, low-latency communication in complex networks. The ADIN3310 and ADIN6310 switches are specifically designed for industrial Ethernet applications, including factory and process automation, motion control and robotics, transportation, and building automation.

Figure. 1

The ADIN3310 and ADIN6310 industrial Ethernet switches feature non-dedicated Media Access Controller (MAC) interfaces that can be used with ADI's Physical Layer (PHY) devices to form low-power, low-latency systems. Through a streamlined serial gigabit media-independent interface (SGMII and RGMII), these industrial Ethernet switches support data transfer rates of up to 1 Gbps. The ADIN3310 and ADIN6310 Ethernet switches support Parallel Redundancy Protocol (PRP) and High Availability Seamless Redundancy (HSR) protocols, reducing the load on the host processor.

The switches feature enhanced security functions, including hardware-based encryption, secure boot, and secure host pairing protocols. Both industrial Ethernet switches support IEEE TSN standards, including 802.1AS (time synchronization), 802.1Qbv (communication traffic scheduling), and 802.1CB (frame redundancy), ensuring quality of service (QoS) for latency-sensitive streams. All six ports of the switch can be configured to operate at different speeds.

Developers can use the ADI EVAL-ADIN3310EBZ evaluation kit to test and evaluate the industrial Ethernet switch. The kit includes the ADIN3310 switch, three ADIN1300 Ethernet PHYs for standard Ethernet connections, USB and Ethernet cables, and an optional SFP housing for SGMII copper/fiber connections.

Application of DC brushed motors in automobiles
Introduction to Brush-Type DC Motors Brush-type DC motors, commonly referred to as brush motors, are a type of DC motor widely used in household appliances. Their key components include fixed main poles and brushes on the stator, as well as armature windings and commutators on the rotor. Electric power from the DC power source enters the armature windings through the brushes and commutator, generating armature current. The magnetic field produced by the armature current interacts with the main magnetic fiel....

How can the MCU continue to complete the corresponding operation when the power is slow to power on?
In electronic systems, the microcontroller (MCU) is the core control unit, and its stable operation depends on a reliable power supply. However, in actual applications, the power supply may be slow to power on, which poses a challenge to the normal startup and subsequent operation of the MCU. To ensure the stability and reliability of the system, the MCU needs to adopt a series of strategies to deal with the problem of slow power on and continue to complete the corresponding operation. Countermeasures at ....
