Qorvo Launches High-Performance BAW Filter and Pre-Driver Amplifier to Accelerate 5G mMIMO and FWA Deployment

Recently, Qorvo®, a global leader in connectivity and power solutions (Nasdaq: QRVO), introduced two advanced RF components specifically designed to meet the demands for higher performance, greater integration, and more compact RF designs in 5G massive multiple-input multiple-output (mMIMO) and fixed wireless access (FWA) deployments.

The QPQ3550 is a compact, high-performance BAW filter. This product operates in the 3.55–3.7 GHz CBRS band and is suitable for customer premises equipment (CPE), fixed wireless access (FWA) nodes, small cell base stations, and multi-band wireless systems supporting next-generation broadband platforms. As demand for fixed wireless access applications continues to grow, the QPQ3550, as a plug-and-play solution, can accelerate the large-scale deployment of 5G with its industry-leading performance and compact design. The product utilizes Qorvo's multi-generation bulk acoustic wave (BAW) technology, offering exceptional insertion loss, excellent power handling capability, and superior thermal reliability.

The QPA9862 is a broadband, high-efficiency pre-driver amplifier specifically designed for 5G mMIMO wireless systems, supporting 32T and 64T base station architectures. It features excellent power efficiency, wide instantaneous signal bandwidth, and a compact integrated design, enabling device manufacturers to meet the evolving requirements of 5G wireless systems. The QPA9862 is based on Qorvo's deep expertise in RF system technology, reflecting Qorvo's commitment to developing high-performance RF system solutions and addressing the power, bandwidth, and thermal performance challenges of next-generation infrastructure.
